AMERICAN AIRLINES
BRAND IDENTITY - EVENT
Project Objective: Overhaul outdated print collateral and environmental event signage to reflect updated American Airlines corporate branding guidelines for an annual charity golf tournament
Role: Lead Graphic Designer (Brand Adaptation, Publication Layout, & Production Management)
Intended Audience: Corporate sponsors, community partners, non-profit representatives, and celebrity event participants
Software & Tools: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop
Brand & Design Considerations: Integrated American Airlines' modernized color palette, visual iconography, and circular geometric motifs, pairing them with high-resolution imagery showcasing non-profit beneficiaries
Accessibility & Production Considerations: Executed multi-page print pre-press for brochures, produced large-format environmental signage, and formatted durable physical assets (bag tags, award certificates, auction collateral) optimized for outdoor course display
Project Description: As lead graphic designer, I directed the comprehensive visual redesign of all print and environmental assets for the annual American Airlines Flagship Charities Golf Classic, which raises critical funds for Los Angeles youth non-profits. Working directly with division management, I updated outdated legacy collateral to align seamlessly with American Airlines' updated corporate visual guidelines. Utilizing Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, I developed a cohesive multi-asset system anchored by repeating circular motifs, brand-compliant iconography, and high-resolution lifestyle photography highlighting the children served by the beneficiary programs. The final production suite encompassed interactive digital and print brochures, course signage, custom player bag tags, and live auction presentation materials.
